Monel wire is a Nickel-Copper alloy with high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a range of acidic.

Wire diameter: 0.13mm to 6mm.

Monel 400 Chemical Composition:

Ni: 63% min

Cu: 28 - 34%

Fe: 2.5% max

Mn: 2% max  

Monel 400 is A Nickel-Copper alloy with high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a range of acidic and alkaline environments, corrosion resistant at ambient temperatures and especially suitable for reducing conditions. It also has good ductility and thermal conductivity.

Fe: 2% max

Al:  2.3 - 3.15%

Ti:  0.35 - 0.85%

The Monel K500 (Nickel-Copper alloy) is precipitation hardenable, due to the additions of Aluminium and Titanium. It combines the corrosion resistance of Monel 400 but gives the added advantage of extra strength and hardness.
