Incoloy 800 Wire, Incoloy 825 Wire, Incoloy 800HT Wire

Incoloy 800 Wire, Incoloy 825 Wire, Incoloy 800HT Wire
Product Detailed
Incoloy 800 Wire is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation.

Wire diameter: 0.13mm to 5.00mm.

Incoloy 800 Wire is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature atmospheres.

A high chromium content gives Incoloy 800 good resistance to oxidation. It also resists many aqueous media and is relatively free from stress-corrosion cracking. Incoloy 800 has excellent resistance to nitric acid at concentrations up to approximately 70% and at temperatures up to the boiling point. It also has good resistance to organic acids, such as formic, acetic, and propionic. It resists a variety of oxidizing and nonoxidizing salts, but not halide salts.

Incoloy 800H Wire is similar to alloy 800 but with improved creep and stress-rupture properties for applications above 650 °C (1200 °F). Resistant to high-temperature oxidation, carburization, and nitridation, it is widely used in petrochemical and thermal processing.

Incoloy 800HT Wire is similar to alloy 800H but with even more precisely controlled composition.

Alloys 800H and 800HT are the standard materials for intermediate temperatures (620–925 °C, or 1150–1700 °F). These alloys combine corrosion resistance with strength and metallurgical stability. Major applications include hydrogen reformer manifolds and pigtail piping, ethylene dichloride furnace tubing, transfer piping, and high-temperature pressure vessels.

Incoloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum and copper. It has excellent resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids, to stress-corrosion cracking, and to localized attack such as pitting and crevice corrosion. The alloy is especially resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids. Used for chemical processing, pollution-control equipment, oil and gas well piping, nuclear fuel reprocessing, acid production, and pickling equipment.
